Job summary

Welvaart is seeking an Application Production Support Engineer in Lisbon, a hybrid role that blends technical support with IT operations. You will handle incidents, changes and releases for business-critical banking applications, working with Development and Infrastructure teams to ensure availability, performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Application Production Support or IT Operations environments.
• Experience supporting critical banking or financial services applications is preferred.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT Production contact for production activities and support requests.
• Provide technical and functional support to end users, Business Analysts and Development teams.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems and changes through ITSM processes.
• Ensure SLAs and operational procedures are met; investigate incidents and coordinate rapid resolution.
• Escalate issues and collaborate with relevant teams; monitor stack for stability and performance.
• Support application releases, deployments and pre-production validations.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous service improvement.
