Job summary

Welvaart in Lisbon is seeking an Application Production Support Engineer to ensure the stability, availability and performance of critical banking applications in a Global IT environment.

You will handle incident resolution, deployments, monitoring and automation while collaborating with business users and infrastructure teams to drive service improvements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in Production Support, Application Support or Infra environments.
• Strong experience in Application Production Support within enterprise environments.
• Experience providing both technical and functional support.
• Experience supporting critical business applications in production.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities.
• Experience managing releases, deployments and production changes.
• Experience monitoring complex business processes and operational workflows.
• Experience automating operational tasks and support activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in ITIL-based support organizations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work closely with business, development and infrastructure teams.
