Closer Consulting is seeking a skilled BI Developer to join our hybrid team in Lisbon or Porto. You will develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, design scalable data models, and contribute to data warehouse projects across multiple industries.

We value strong SQL capabilities, experience with star schemas, and the ability to translate business needs into robust data solutions. This role offers a dynamic environment with collaboration across analytics and engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for performance.
• Analyze SQL challenges and identify optimization opportunities.
• Design and maintain data models, including star schemas.
• Assess modeling needs and select appropriate approaches.
• Design and optimize data warehouse solutions for scalability.
• Work with Dedicated SQL Pools to build data warehouse solutions.
• Apply best practices across SQL development, modeling, and warehousing.

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, with a strong understanding of SQL engine behavior and query performance.
• Analyze and solve complex SQL-related challenges, identifying opportunities for performance improvements and optimization.
• Design, implement, and maintain effective data models, including star schema designs, based on business and technical requirements.
• Assess data modeling requirements and determine when more advanced modeling approaches are necessary.
• Design, develop, and optimize solutions within data warehouse environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Work with Dedicated SQL Pools and leverage their capabilities to build and optimize data warehouse solutions.
• Apply best practices across SQL development, data modeling, and data warehousing to deliver efficient and maintainable data solutions.
