Closer Consulting in Portugal is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our data science team in Lisbon or Porto. You will deliver Level 1 and 2 support for hardware, software, and mobile devices, and collaborate with local and global teams to maintain service quality.

The role requires customer-focused communication, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and experience with banking/financial software or ITIL-based processes.

Qualificações

• Strong Level 1 and 2 troubleshooting for hardware/software across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• IT support experience in banking/finance; familiarity with messaging products and incident management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, while collaborating with local and global support teams.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing daily support with project work.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to produce high-standard reports and meeting minutes.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician eager to take on new challenges in Lisbon or Porto.

Are you the one?

• Technical Support: Strong Level 1 and 2 troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software, covering Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iPhones, laptops, tablets).
• Domain Experience: Prior IT support experience within the banking or financial sector, including familiarity with messaging products, Microsoft OS build methodologies, and incident management toolsets.
• Customer Service & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong, customer-focused approach and the ability to manage diverse client personalities.
• Work Style: Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with local (Portugal) and global support teams.
• Adaptability & Multi-tasking: Able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment, balancing daily support duties with project work, and remaining flexible amid changing requirements.
• Administration: Strong negotiation skills, along with the ability to produce high-standard reports and meeting minutes.

Qualifications & Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

• Experience with banking and financial software applications.
• ITIL Foundation or similar service management certifications.
• Official hardware accreditations.
