Job summary

InnoTech in Portugal is seeking an Application DevOps Engineer to manage deployments across multiple environments and automate release processes. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, work with Kubernetes/AKS, Helm, Docker, and YAML, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable software delivery.

The role requires 4+ years of DevOps experience, hands-on Azure services, and strong English communication. A CPLP nationality or EU work permit is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Application DevOps focusing on deployment, automation, release management and support.
• Hands-on with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/AKS, Helm, and Docker.
• Proficient in YAML for pipelines and Kubernetes configurations; strong scripting with PowerShell.
• Experience with Azure services (Service Bus, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Key Vault, Application Gateway, AKS) and cross-environment deployments.
• English proficiency and EU work permit or CPLP nationality required.

Responsibilities

• Manage deployments, configurations and release processes across DEV/QA/UAT/PROD environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines; automate deployment tasks and release flows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in Kubernetes environments.
• Support security and reliability of applications; manage configurations and secrets.
• Collaborate with development and operations to optimize deployment workflows.

Your Mission Will Be

• Manage application deployments, configurations, and release processes across multiple environments, ensuring smooth and reliable software delivery;
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment activities and streamlining application release management;
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to application deployments, pipelines, and Kubernetes environments;
• Support the operational stability and security of applications by managing configurations, secrets, and deployment practices;
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment workflows and ensure efficient application support.

You Will Need

• + 4 years of experience in Application DevOps, focusing on application deployment, automation, release management, and operational support rather than infrastructure provisioning;
• Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management, Kubernetes/AKS, Helm, and Docker;
• Proficiency in YAML for pipeline and Kubernetes configurations, as well as PowerShell for scripting and automation;
• Practical experience with Azure services, including Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Key Vault, Application Gateway, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS);
• Experience managing deployments across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments, troubleshooting deployment issues, working in Agile teams, and communicating effectively in English; CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields;
• Experience improving deployment automation and release processes across complex application environments;
• Knowledge of application security best practices, particularly configuration management and secrets handling;
• A proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
