Decskill is seeking an AI Python Platform Engineer to join its Conversational AI Platform team. You will develop and maintain AI-driven API services, data pipelines using Airflow, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across DevOps, MLOps, Data, QA, and Security in an Agile environment.

With 5+ years of software experience and strong Python skills, you will contribute to data engineering, API management, and integration of AI tools within a globally distributed platform.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with API Management (e.g., Apigee).
• Experience with data engineering and Airflow.
• Experience with Elasticsearch for data prep and search.
• Knowledge of the data lifecycle and continuous improvement.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Understanding of Data, AI, DevSecOps, AIOps and Private Cloud.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews).
• Develop and maintain APIs and AI-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow.
• Prepare and manage data using Elasticsearch.
• Onboard new countries and use cases onto CAP.
• Provide technical support, create environments, and monitor bots.
• Develop playbooks and best practices for onboarding and deployment.
• Monitor applications and resolve incidents for stability and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps, MLOps, AIOps, Data, QA, and Security teams.
• Integrate new AI tools and technologies into the platform.
• Troubleshoot issues and reduce technical debt.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and maintain security posture.

We are looking for an AI Python Platform Engineer!

Responsabilities:

• Develop and maintain Conversational AI solutions as part of the Conversational AI Platform (CAP).
• Support both run and change activities related to the platform.
• Work closely with Tech Leads, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain APIs and AI-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow.
• Prepare and manage data using Elasticsearch.
• Onboard new countries and use cases onto the Conversational AI Platform.
• Provide technical support, create environments, and monitor existing conversational bots.
• Develop playbooks and best practices to accelerate onboarding and deployment of new use cases.
• Monitor applications and resolve incidents to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps, MLOps, AIOps, Data, QA, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Integrate new AI tools and technologies into the platform.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Identify, prioritize, and help reduce technical debt.
• Monitor and remediate application, dependency, and security vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with API Management (e.g., Apigee).
• Experience with data engineering and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Experience with Elasticsearch for data preparation and search capabilities.
• Knowledge of the data lifecycle and continuous improvement based on user feedback.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Argo CD.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Understanding of Data, AI, DevSecOps, AIOps, and Private Cloud technologies and industry trends.
• Experience with Shell scripting and automation. Nice to Have
• Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications. Nice to Have
• Experience working with Conversational AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and AI platforms. Nice to Have
• Professional proficiency in English.
