Decskill, an IT consultancy, seeks a Senior AI Platform Engineer to architect AI-native development workflows and to build multi-agent systems that empower software teams. The role involves integrating AI capabilities with internal tools, driving production-grade automation, and shaping engineering productivity metrics.

With 5+ years in software/platform engineering and 2+ years in Generative AI, you will lead PoCs, mentor teams, and promote AI-native practices across the organization,

Qualificações

• Bachelors degree in CS/Software Eng/Info Tech or related field.
• 5+ years in Software/Platform Eng/DevOps or Backend Development.
• 2+ years hands-on with Generative AI/LLMs/Agentic AI solutions.

We are looking for Senior AI Platform Engineer!

Responsibilities:

AI Platform Architecture & Agentic Workflows

• Architect and implement AI-native development workflows.
• Design and build multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions tailored to software development workflows.
• Create evaluation frameworks to measure and improve the quality of AI-assisted outputs.

Developer Workflow Automation

• Design reusable abstractions such as Skills, Agents, and Commands to automate the software development lifecycle.
• Build AI-powered workflows covering specification, planning, implementation, and delivery.

Platform & Ecosystem Integration

• Integrate AI capabilities with internal engineering tools, including version control, task management, and documentation platforms.
• Leverage the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related technologies to provide contextual information for AI agents.
• Ensure seamless interoperability across the developer toolchain.
• Design and evolve internal developer platforms, frameworks, and multi-target CLI tools.
• Develop reusable developer tools, automation capabilities, and platform services.
• Ensure platform security, governance, scalability, and extensibility.
• Define and implement engineering health metrics and telemetry.
• Analyze software delivery performance using engineering productivity indicators (e.g., DORA, SPACE).
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement through data-driven analysis.
• Produce insights to support engineering decision-making and continuous improvement.

AI Adoption & Technical Leadership

• Lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for AI-driven engineering solutions.
• Gather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve AI capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and consultancy to engineering teams.
• Promote the adoption of AI-native development practices across the organization.

Developer Experience Optimization

• Improve the quality and availability of contextual information for AI systems.
• Enhance human-AI collaboration to reduce development friction.
• Continuously improve the speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of AI-assisted engineering processes.

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Backend Development.
• Proven experience designing and building scalable tools and platforms for software developers.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Agentic AI solutions.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience designing and implementing AI agent frameworks and orchestration systems.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI integration patterns.
• Experience designing developer-facing automation frameworks, Skills, Agents, and Commands.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with software development tools and engineering platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and developer productivity practices.
• Experience with engineering metrics, telemetry, and performance measurement frameworks (e.g., DORA, SPACE).

Soft Skills

• Experience driving AI adoption initiatives within engineering organizations.
