Decskill is growing and seeks an AI Senior Backend Engineer to design scalable, high-performance backend services. You will deliver features with best practices and AI-assisted development to boost productivity.

You will work across cross-functional teams focusing on AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and databases to ship reliable software with user-centric quality. Expect collaboration, exposure to international contexts, and on-call duties as part of the role.

Qualificações

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of software development experience.

• Contribute to code reviews, testing, refactoring, and technical decision-making.
• Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation.

We are looking for an AI Senior Backend Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services.
• Build and deliver new features following software engineering best practices.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery.
• Take ownership of technical solutions and proactively solve technical challenges.
• Develop high-quality software with a strong focus on the end user.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and accelerate development.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, refactoring, and technical decision-making.
• Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also considered.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Experience with C#, .NET, Java, and Go.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, such as Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redis.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering for coding, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with different AI models and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Understanding of how to validate AI-generated output and maintain software quality standards.
• Experience using AI for prototyping, test generation, code review, and performance optimization.
• Fluency in English.
