Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Scalable Core team, shaping and delivering a platform that supports the agentic software development lifecycle. You will work hands‑on in platform engineering, collaborating with development teams to translate their needs into reusable services and automation.

You will grow toward owning capabilities and leading engagements, contributing to the platform blueprint and improving developer experience across cloud, on‑prem, and edge deployments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or related field required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full‑stack software engineering.
• 2+ years in AI-assisted/agentic software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Translate delivery teams’ needs into reusable services, APIs, and self‑service capabilities.
• Implement capabilities such as token budgets, consumption tracking, onboarding, LLM routing, and agent personas/skills.
• Embed with software engineering teams to configure tooling, code agents and guardrails, and build proofs of concept.
