Siemens Energy in Portugal is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, deploy, and improve enterprise-grade AI applications supporting critical business processes within the Transformation of Industry division.

You will own the complete engineering lifecycle, collaborating across Azure and AWS, and mentoring junior AI developers while promoting secure coding, observability, and DevOps practices across teams.

Qualificações

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
8+ years of software engineering experience with production-grade apps.
5+ years designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions including Generative AI and RAG.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable AI applications using Generative AI and RAG frameworks.
Engineer production-ready AI services and reusable components using Python, REST APIs, FastAPI, and microservices.
Design end-to-end architectures integrating AI with enterprise apps, data platforms, and security.
Build cloud-native AI solutions on Azure and AWS, selecting scalable services.
Manage CI/CD pipelines for AI apps, models, and infra.
Mentor junior engineers through coaching, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Promote engineering standards, reusable patterns, and secure software delivery.
Research new AI technologies and recommend adoption when valuable.
