Job summary

Siemens Energy invites an AI Engineer to shape and deliver a scalable core platform that supports an agentic software development lifecycle. You will work hands‑on in platform engineering, collaborating with development teams to translate needs into reusable services, APIs, and automation.

You will help implement key capabilities, engage in forward‑deployed engagements, and grow toward owning capabilities and leading engagements independently, impacting the mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years in AI‑assisted/agentic software engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud‑native development.

Responsibilities

• Translate delivery teams’ needs into reusable services, APIs, and self‑service capabilities.
• Implement capabilities such as token budgets, consumption tracking, onboarding, LLM routing, and agent persona management.
• Embed with software teams to configure tooling, code agents and guardrails, and build proofs of concept.
• Advance harness engineering through context, tool integrations, and evaluation loops for reliable agent operation.
• Write and ship production code using AI coding tools and guardrails.
