Accenture Portugal is seeking an AI Engineer to join their team in Lisbon, offering roles across multiple seniority levels, including Junior Engineer, Senior, Team Lead, and Managers. You will design and develop AI-powered solutions with a focus on generative AI and machine learning technologies. Responsibilities include building optimized applications, collaborating with teams, and ensuring AI safety practices. This is a hybrid position, blending remote and on-site work.

Qualificações

Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI ecosystems.
Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices.
Solid understanding of AI application architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Responsabilidades

Research, design, and develop AI-powered solutions using state-of-the-art ML and generative AI technologies.
Build and optimize LLM-based applications, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.

Qualifications

Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI ecosystems
Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices
Solid understanding of AI application architectures, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)
Experience with vector databases and semantic search solutions
Knowledge of agentic frameworks, tool calling, and orchestration patterns
Understanding of AI safety, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment workflows
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Research, design, and develop AI‑powered solutions using state‑of‑the‑art ML and generative AI technologies

Design and integrate vector databases, prompt engineering strategies, and tool‑calling mechanisms
