Accenture Technology is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and scale intelligent AI-powered solutions using modern ML and generative AI technologies. You will contribute to robust AI architectures and help drive innovation across the organization.

Responsibilities include developing LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and tool-calling mechanisms, with a focus on performance, scalability, and safety. Location options include Lisbon or Porto, Portugal.

Qualificações

• Experience with large language models and generative AI ecosystems.
• Strong Python programming and modern software engineering practices.
• Knowledge of AI application architectures, including RAG.
• Experience with vector databases and semantic search.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks, tool calling, and orchestration patterns.
• Understanding of AI safety, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Research, design, and develop AI-powered solutions using state-of-the-art ML and generative AI.
• Build and optimize LLM-based applications, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Design and integrate vector databases, prompts, and tool-calling mechanisms.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI systems for performance and reliability.
• Apply AI safety, evaluation, and guardrail best practices across solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and platform scalability initiatives.
• Document designs, experiments, and operational procedures.
• Depending on seniority, mentor engineers and drive AI strategy and innovation.
