Job summary

Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking an AI Coach - Agentic Engineering to join its remote team. This role focuses on advancing agent orchestration, AI workflows, and scalable engineering practices across digital retail and eCommerce environments.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to drive adoption of new technologies, run workshops, and develop developer productivity tooling. The ideal candidate has experience with Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and MCP-based tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in software engineering.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with MCP-based tooling and integrations.
• Experience enabling teams with tech at scale; workshops or communities of practice.

Required skills

• At least 6 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and agentic development platforms.
• Experience working with MCP-based tooling and integrations.
• Experience creating reusable AI workflows, engineering accelerators, or developer productivity tooling.
• Experience helping teams adopt new technologies and engineering practices at scale, including running workshops, communities of practice, or technical enablement programmes.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
• Experience working in large-scale digital, retail, or eCommerce environments.
