Job summary

Wire IT in Portugal is seeking an AI Coach - Agentic Engineering to join a senior, product-focused team working remotely. You will shape and deploy agentic AI capabilities, collaborate with engineering teams, and drive adoption of new platforms at scale across digital retail and eCommerce environments.

The role requires deep software engineering background, 6+ years, experience with orchestration frameworks, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MCP tooling, plus a passion for enabling teams through workshops

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and agentic development platforms.
• Experience with MCP-based tooling and integrations.
• Experience creating reusable AI workflows, engineering accelerators, or developer productivity tooling.
• Experience helping teams adopt new technologies and engineering practices at scale, including running workshops, communities of practice, or technical enablement programmes.

Required skills

• At least 6 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Experience working with MCP-based tooling and integrations.
• Experience creating reusable AI workflows, engineering accelerators, or developer productivity tooling.

• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
• Experience working in large-scale digital, retail, or eCommerce environments.
