HumanIT Digital Consulting is hiring an Agentic Engineering Coach (AI/MCP/Kubernetes) for a fully remote role in Portugal. You will lead adoption of AI-assisted, agentic software development across multiple teams, combining hands-on engineering with coaching to shape how hundreds of engineers build software.

The culture is lean, self-managed, and collaborative. We expect 6+ years of software engineering, Kubernetes experience, MCP tooling, and strong English.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and agentic development platforms.
• Experience with MCP-based tooling and integrations.
• Proven track record helping teams adopt new technologies at scale through workshops or enablement programmes.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and distributed systems.
• Fluent English, spoken and written; Portuguese language skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Team coaching and enablement: embed AI-assisted practices into daily workflows while maintaining quality and security.
• Delivery and productivity optimisation: improve delivery through AI tooling and agent orchestration.
• Prototyping and architecture: build prototypes and reference implementations of agentic patterns.
• Prompting and validation best practices: develop strong prompting, validation, and review techniques.
• Metrics and impact measurement: measure AI-assisted engineering impact on delivery outcomes.
• Innovation and standards: evolve engineering standards and bring emerging agentic techniques into the organisation.
