TalentCo is partnering with a fast-growing Agentic AI startup in Portugal to hire several Senior Backend Engineers. You will design and scale enterprise-grade backend systems powering real-time AI-driven workflows, collaborating with AI researchers, ML engineers, and product teams in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment.

You should have 6+ years building production applications, strong Node.js and TypeScript skills, and solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Qualificações

• 6+ years building production applications in high-bar engineering environments (startups or scale-ups).
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable architectures.
• Understanding of AI-powered applications, LLMs, and agentic workflows.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build applications that power AI-driven workflows for enterprise users.
• Build scalable backend services that support real-time AI interactions, knowledge retrieval, and automation.
• Work closely with AI researchers and ML engineers to integrate LLMs and RAG into production-ready apps.
• Ship robust, minimal-dependency code optimized for enterprise environments.
• Iterate and refine AI-driven products balancing user needs with feasibility.
