Job summary

Siemens Mobility Lisbon is seeking a talented AI/ML engineer to design, develop, and improve AI solutions across domains. You will build AI applications and pipelines using GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and agent-based workflows, translating business needs into practical AI-driven results.

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deploy production-ready AI services on cloud platforms, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement that delivers measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/DS/ML or related field.
• 1–3 years in software engineering, AI/ML or data science.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Knowledge of GenAI concepts (LLMs, embeddings, RAG).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) and LangChain.

Your mission will be…

• Designing, developing, and improving AI solutions that help solve real business challenges across different domains.
• Building AI applications and workflows using modern machine learning and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based systems.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical AI-driven solutions.
• Developing, testing, and maintaining AI/ML pipelines and cloud-native AI services that can operate reliably in production environments.
• Contributing to the deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI applications, ensuring they deliver measurable business value.
• Leveraging cloud platforms and AI services to create scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Staying up to date with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and helping bring new technologies, ideas, and best practices into projects.
• Working closely with experienced AI engineers, software developers, and architects while continuously growing your technical and consulting skills.

We are looking for someone with…

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field.
• 1-3 years of software engineering, AI/ML or data science experience (internships and academic projects considered).
• Solid Python development skills.
• Knowledge of GenAI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, RAG and agentic workflows.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Promptflow or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs and integrating AI solutions into applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.
