Job summary

MetLife Portugal is seeking an Agency Sales Manager to lead a team of exclusive sales consultants. You will recruit, train and coach the team, fostering growth and performance in line with company standards.

From day one you will create a meaningful development experience for potential consultants, using AI tools to support routine tasks and day-to-day efficiency, while driving sales results and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• University degree.
• 3+ years in sales, with coaching and motivating sales teams, especially in face-to-face distribution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, problem-solving, and strategic thinker.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Results-oriented with continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with AI tools and validating outputs.

Responsibilities

• Implement the strategy and provide management and support needed to achieve expected results in line with company standards.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and coach sales consultants.
• Identify and develop agents with leadership potential.
• Motivate and manage the sales force to ensure commitment to agency targets.
• Ensure monitoring processes are in place to support the effective execution of daily activities.
• Ability to use approved AI tools to support routine tasks such as drafting, summarizing, organizing information, and improving day-to-day efficiency.
