Job summary

Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS), Unipessoal Lda. in Portugal seeks an accounting/finance professional to support payables, ensure compliance, and drive cost efficiency while strengthening vendor relations.

You will review invoices, reconcile statements, and assist in month‑end close, audits, and financial reporting, contributing to a global movement where innovation meets humanity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting / Financial / Management / Economy
• 3+ years experience in a multinational company is desirable
• Experience in Global Business Services is a plus (for GBS roles)
• Languages: Fluency in English (mandatory), Portuguese (nice to have) and extra languages are a plus

Responsibilities

• Account for organization's financial obligations to suppliers and creditors by verifying and completing payables transactions, ensuring compliance while contributing to cost efficiency and vendor relations.
• Reviewing and verifying invoices, ensuring proper coding and authorization, and entering them into the accounting system.
• Assist in reconciling vendor statements, resolving payment discrepancies, and managing vendor relationships.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, participate in financial audits, and contribute to financial reporting requirements.
