Job summary

PrimeIT in Lisbon is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. This mid-level role requires 3 to 6 years of accounting experience and a sharp eye for detail.

You will perform month-end tasks, manage VAT entries, support AP/AR bookings, and work with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Fluent English is mandatory; French is a plus. Collaboration with international teams is routine.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or related field.
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end accounting activities, including accruals, depreciation, provisions, and corrections.
• Analyze and reconcile open items, identifying and correcting discrepancies in the system.
• Create and manage fixed assets in line with Group policies and accounting standards.
• Perform accounting controls in accordance with corporate procedures.
• Support AP/AR bookings and general accounting activities, including VAT and other accounting entries.
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Location: Lisbon

Level of Experience: Mid (3 to 6 years)

Salary Package & Benefits: €920to €1,500 (salary base) + Meal Allowance + Flexible Benefits

Main Tasks:

• Perform month-end accounting activities, including accruals, depreciation, provisions, and corrections.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Relevant experience as an Accounting Officer or in a similar role
