Job summary
A leading tech company in Poland is looking for a Senior PHP Backend Developer to join their Billing Team. This remote position involves building and maintaining customer subscription systems and integrating payment services like Stripe and Shopify. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in PHP development, strong expertise in payment integrations, and a deep understanding of SOLID principles along with other technologies such as MySQL and Docker. - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PHP Backend Developer.
- Strong expertise in PHP (preferably PHP 8/8.3).
- Advanced experience with payment integrations (Stripe, Shopify).
- Proficiency in SOLID principles and architectural patterns.
- Experience with MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Docker.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch for logging/analytics.
- Ability to create tests for both new and existing code.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the customer subscription system.
- Integrate critical payment systems with Stripe and Shopify.
- Handle thousands of transactions monthly.
