Job summary

You will work with the CTPO to shape strategy, modernize platforms, and set engineering standards, preparing the organization for its next growth phase. This organizational leadership role requires experience managing managers, handling 40–120 engineers, and coordinating across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Head, Director, or VP-level software engineering leadership experience.
• Enterprise or B2B SaaS product experience.
• Proven manager-of-managers leadership experience.
• Experience leading approximately 40-120+ engineers.
• Distributed engineering teams across multiple locations or countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed software engineering organization of 50+ engineers.
• Manage engineering leaders and teams across multiple European locations.
• Define and execute the engineering strategy alongside the CTPO.
• Establish engineering standards, processes, and operating models.
• Scale the engineering organization as the business grows.
• Drive modernization of existing applications and technology platforms.
• Improve engineering quality, reliability, delivery, and scalability.
• Coordinate backend, frontend, mobile, and platform engineering functions.
• Build and develop a strong engineering leadership layer.
• Partner with product and business leadership on technology priorities.
• Support technical due diligence during acquisitions.
• Integrate acquired engineering organizations and technology platforms.
• Drive platform harmonization across multiple products and entities.
• Communicate effectively with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders.
• Balance modernization initiatives with ongoing product delivery.
