Job summary

Sprout is seeking a deeply technical engineering leader in Kraków to own access platform initiatives, scale systems, and mentor teammates. You will drive delivery across frontend, backend and SRE disciplines to ensure reliable, scalable services.

In this role you will guide feature delivery from concept to MVP, collaborate with product managers to align roadmaps, and foster a culture of learning and improvement. This position offers strong growth and impact in a high-scale environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development in production systems.
• 5+ years in object-oriented languages (Scala or JVM).
• 5+ years in functional programming.
• 3+ years leading engineering projects with distributed systems.
• Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service excellence and scalable foundations with Scala, MySQL, Redis, Kafka.
• Lead the team through complex roadmaps and guide outcomes.
• Improve processes and tools to deliver quality products.
• Provide technical mentoring and pairing across the team.
• Address issues proactively and elevate initiatives with leadership.
