Job summary

TechTree is seeking an experienced Head of Software Engineering to lead 50+ engineers across Europe. You will shape engineering strategy, mentor managers, and drive alignment with the CTPO on priorities and scaling for an enterprise SaaS platform.

You will oversee modernization initiatives, foster a high-performing culture, and ensure secure, scalable systems while collaborating with Product teams across brands. Hybrid work from Cracow, Poland, is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Head/Director of Software Engineering in a multi-location enterprise SaaS.
• Strong leadership of distributed teams across geographies.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and enterprise clients.
• Fluent English (C1+), both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering managers across Europe, ensuring delivery performance and engineering culture.
• Develop and execute engineering strategy aligned with platform architecture.
• Partner with CTPO on priorities, delivery frameworks, and scaling initiatives.
• Oversee modernization of applications and harmonization of tools and processes.
• Collaborate with Product and Platform Engineering to ensure secure, scalable systems.
