Job summary

Ampstek seeks an experienced manager to take on the combined role of Test & Release Manager within our SAP Operations. This position focuses on governance, release planning, and SAP testing across S/4HANA environments.

The role requires SAP testing, release management, ITIL-based processes, and coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality SAP deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Test Manager and/or Release Manager in SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA / SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Experience in SAP release management and CAB coordination.
• Good understanding of ITIL-based change and release processes.
• Expertise in test planning, defect management, and UAT coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end change governance.
• Coordinate release planning and SAP half-yearly releases.
• Prioritize change requests based on business impact, risk, and technical feasibility.
• Define and manage the SAP testing strategy and approach.
• Coordinate regression testing, integration testing, and UAT.
• Track, prioritize, and drive defect resolution.
• Prepare test reports and release readiness assessments.
