ALTEN Polska is seeking an experienced Technical Lead with a strong C++ background to guide a team delivering high-quality software in Linux-based environments. The role blends hands-on development with leadership responsibilities, coordinating with architects, project managers, and cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software development, 2–3 years in leadership, solid Linux expertise, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 2–3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Solid understanding of Linux OS, development tools, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Experience leading software development teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, OO design, and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with Git and agile processes (Jira).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development.
• Define and drive technical direction, architecture decisions, and development best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ applications and libraries.
• Coordinate development activities, prioritize tasks, and track progress using Jira.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, testers, and integration engineers to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure software quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering excellence across the team.
• Support estimation, planning, risk identification, and technical decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and team collaboration.
• Work within Linux environments, utilizing build systems.
