Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an experienced C++ Developer with strong proficiency in modern C++ and solid knowledge of Linux-based environments to join our teams in Kraków.

You will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality C++ applications, participate in code reviews, collaborate with architects and testers, and ensure performance and scalability across demanding automotive, energy, or telecom projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
• Solid understanding of Linux OS and development tools.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ applications and libraries.
• Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Work with Linux environments (build systems, debugging, shell scripting, etc.).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Collaborate with system architects, testers, and integration engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Document code, designs, and processes in line with project standards.

We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with strong proficiency in modern C++

and solid knowledge of Linux-based environments. The role involves designing,

developing, and maintaining high-level software components, ensuring performance,

scalability, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions in technically demanding projects.

Experience in automotive, energy, or telecommunication industries will be considered a

strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ applications and libraries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
• Solid understanding of Linux OS, including development tools and environment configuration.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and object-oriented design principles.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in one or more of the following industries: automotive, energy, or telecommunication.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, networking protocols, or multithreading.
• Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Basel experience is a plus.
