Job summary

ALTEN Polska in Katowice is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our hybrid-work team. You will develop and maintain software for embedded systems, with a focus on C/C++ and close hardware integration across international projects.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams, design and test new functionalities, and contribute to innovative industrial automation solutions. A strong background in embedded development and a B2 level English are required, with

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development.
Strong proficiency in C/C++, particularly C++.
Hands-on experience working close to hardware and with hardware‑software integration.
Solid understanding of embedded systems development and debugging.
Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++, with a strong focus on C++.
Design and implement low-level software for embedded systems.
Integrate software with hardware platforms and operating systems.
Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of new functionalities.
Collaborate with international engineering teams on global projects.
