Job summary

UPM is seeking a Supplier Management Specialist to join UPM Business Hub Poland in Wrocław. You will manage supplier lifecycle and risk tasks in SAP Ariba, onboard new suppliers, and support stakeholders across a dynamic, international sourcing team.

You will work in a hybrid setup with on-site collaboration in Wrocław, communicating clearly in English, and contributing to continuous process improvements and compliance across supplier data and relations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of practical experience in supplier lifecycle management or supplier risk management.
• Ability to work with SAP Ariba or similar supplier-management platforms following structured instructions.
• Clear and professional communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders via phone, email, or chat.
• Service-oriented, organized, and attentive to quality, deadlines and detail.
• Understanding of due diligence, compliance and accurate supplier information.
• Initiative in resolving operational issues and improving processes.
• Ability to prepare clear instructions and provide basic process training.
• English proficiency and comfort working in an international, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to process supplier-lifecycle and risk-management tasks in SAP Ariba.
• Onboard suppliers to SAP Ariba, including qualification, enablement and risk screening.
• Follow up with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Respond to supplier queries via phone, email or chat and manage SAP Business Network profiles.
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and report status to the Manager, Sourcing Operations.
• Ensure due diligence and compliance with UPM policies across activities.
• Analyse reports and KPIs to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and training materials.
