Job summary

UPM is seeking a Specialist, Sourcing Operations in Wrocław to lead end-to-end sourcing across indirect materials, developing strategies that optimize costs and create value. You will negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and influence stakeholders using digital tools, including SAP Ariba.

The role offers a hybrid working model in Wrocław, Poland, with collaboration across global teams and opportunities to influence procurement excellence and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or other professional qualification in procurement, business, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba and other digital sourcing and procurement tools is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across indirect material categories using RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and e-auctions.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver business value and cost optimization.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle with compliance and risk management.
  • Influence stakeholders and support strategic decision-making in complex procurement initiatives.
  • Drive change by implementing new digital procurement tools and improving sourcing processes.
