Job summary

Techland in Poland seeks an Outsourcing & Procurement Manager to build and manage a network of vendors and external studios, ensuring access to partners of the right quality, cost, and speed. You will structure agreements, protect IP, and drive cost savings while collaborating with Producers, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.

You will oversee end-to-end sourcing, onboarding, and vendor reviews, aligning procurement with project milestones and production schedules across Wroclaw and Warsaw offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement or outsourcing management, with at least 3 years in games or a closely related creative or digital industry.
• Hands-on experience managing external development, art, QA, or localization vendors on shipped titles.
• Strong negotiation skills and a solid grasp of contracts, SOWs, IP ownership, and milestone-based payment models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategy per project and per category.
• Source and evaluate external partners for art production, co-development, QA, mocap, localization, and marketing.
• Run end-to-end sourcing processes: RFI/RFP/RFQ, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and award.
• Onboard vendors with pipelines, tools, and style guides and monitor milestones, budget, and quality.
• Negotiate and structure MSAs, SOWs, and payment terms with Legal, protecting IP and defining penalties.
• Maintain a contract repository and track key dates, obligations, and renewals.
• Run regular vendor reviews with KPIs like on-time delivery and defect rate, and handle escalations with minimal disruption.
• Assess vendor risk, ensure GDPR and data protection compliance, and build contingency plans.
• Collaborate with Finance and Producers on outsourcing budgets and cost tracking by title.
