Job summary

Jobtailor in Poland seeks a senior ServiceNow engineer to design, implement and deploy platform solutions in line with architectural designs and governance. You will lead platform administration, upgrade planning, and environment hygiene across development, test and production, while building integrations with enterprise systems.

You will participate in agile delivery, mentor others, and help drive adoption through technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years hands-on ServiceNow experience, esp. senior engineer/lead admin.
• Solid ITIL knowledge and IT service management fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps delivery models.
• Strong platform administration: instance management, upgrade cycles, update sets, access control.
• Experience/builds integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
• Fluent English; excellent communication across global teams.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy solutions on the ServiceNow platform in line with approved architectural designs, platform standards and governance guardrails.
• Act as lead platform administrator: own instance configuration, update set management, upgrade planning and environment hygiene across development, test and production.
• Maintain and operate the platform on a day-to-day basis, including health monitoring, performance, access management and incident resolution at L2/L3 level.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems, working with integration partners and third‑party vendors as needed.
• Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint delivery and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Architects and Solution Consultant.
• Support platform adoption through technical documentation, knowledge transfer and contribution to testing and operational handover.
• Enforce development standards, code quality and best practices; support and mentor less experienced team members where applicable.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of hands‑on ServiceNow experience, including significant time in a senior engineer or lead admin capacity.
• Strong platform administration skills: instance management, upgrade cycles, update sets, access control, security policies and environment management.
• Solid development experience: scripting, Flow Designer, integration configuration and custom application development within the platform.
• Proven experience with ITSM and at least one of ITOM, CMDB/Discovery or a comparable ServiceNow product area.
• Solid understanding of ITIL and IT service management principles.
• Experience working within Agile/DevOps delivery models.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across a globally distributed organisation.
• Fluent English required.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD or relevant CIS) are strongly preferred. ITIL certification is an advantage.
