Boehringer Ingelheim Business Services Poland is seeking a Senior Payroll & Time Management Specialist with German to join our team in Wrocław. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll processing, time management, and delivering exceptional customer experience in a Hire-to-Retire Shared Services setup.

Responsibilities include A-Z payroll processing, inquiries handling, and driving process improvements while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong command of German and English (minimum B2 level).
• At least 4 years of end-to-end payroll services experience, including German market exposure.
• Knowledge of German payroll, wage tax and social security.
• Completed higher education, preferably in HR or a related field.

Tasks & responsibilities

As Senior Payroll and Time Management Specialist you are responsible for:

• The transactional A-Z processing, the operationalization, and the professional support in the area of Payroll & Time Management following internal and external compliance regulations.
• Maintaining payroll accounts and handling centralized tasks to ensure accurate and timely payroll payouts.
• Answering inquiries related to Payroll and Time Management with simple to very complex substance by phone and e-mail using our case management system.
• Working on projects in a target-driven environment where service quality is continuously measured, and improved.
• Acting as the owner of at least one complex area of expertise, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, and providing updates and training to team members.

About our future employee

You should have strong command of German and English (minimum B2 level) and have at least 4 years of experience in end-to-end payroll services, including some experience working with the German market, preferably in a Hire-to-Retire Shared Services environment, with a willingness to learn on the job.

Additionally, we are looking for:

• Completed higher education, preferably in HR or a related field.
• Knowledge of German payroll, wage tax and social security.
• Distinct empathy, team spirit, accountability, and service orientation.
• Good knowledge using SAP HR Payroll & Success Factors.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• A positive approach, with the ability to contribute ideas in our Speak-Up culture and actively participate in process optimization.
• Proven ability to address complex issues in a solution-oriented working style.
• Preferably working experience in Process Transition & Transformation.
• Preferably working experience with ServiceNow & MS Office.
