Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is searching for a Senior Order Management Specialist to drive end-to-end order management excellence. You will analyze errors, ensure accurate SAP-based billing, and support deployments across live countries with a strong emphasis on process compliance.

Required is at least 4 years of experience, English at B2 level, and a degree in business administration or accounting. You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional setup within the Boehringer Ingelheim environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve errors in sales order entry interfaces, from routine to complex.
• Ensure complete sales orders and billing in SAP for high-complexity live countries.
• Review and correct incomplete sales orders with customer service and IT within SLAs.
• Review billing processes in SAP and post documents to accounting on time.
• Provide analysis and solutions for errors in order and billing processes.
• Validate and approve rebate credit note requests.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support deployment projects and post-deployment activities by gap analysis.
• Act as SME during audits and prepare compliant process documentation.
• Prepare and train teams on GBS standard order management processes.
• Provide daily support to local customer service and finance in the global Boehringer Ingelheim environment.

As Senior Order Management Specialist you play a key role in ensuring high-quality, efficient and complaint execution of end-to-end order management processes. The position combines also advanced system expertise, coordination responsibilities, knowledge sharing and improvements identification offering you real impact on operational excellence.

Tasks & responsibilities

As a Senior Order Management Specialist, you are responsible for:

• Analysis and solution of errors occurring in sales order entry interfaces, covering a full spectrum of errors, from routine to highly complex.
• Ensuring complete sales orders and billing process for live countries with high complexity in SAP through daily monitoring.
• Reviewing and handling correction of incomplete sales orders in alignment with local customer service and IT within service level agreements by correctingwrong data in the system, covering both routine and complex ones.
• Performing daily review of billing process in SAP and ensuring that all documents relevant and due for Billing are created and posted to accounting in a timely manner.
• Providing analysis and solutions of errors in sales order and billing process ranging from the routine to the most complex ones.
• Validating and approving rebate credit note requests.
• Performing month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Supporting deployment projects and post deployment phase activities by analysing open gaps and supporting solution and realization processes.
• Acting as SME during internal and external audits in GBSC Order Management and preparing compliant process documentation.
• Preparing and performing training of GBS standard order management processes for live countries.
• Providing daily service to local customer service and finance organizations in global Boehringer Ingelheim internal environment.
