Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

Master Data Management Process Specialist (SAP Solution Testing)

The position

Join our team at GBS Enabling Services Organization renowned for consistently supporting the delivery of high-quality solutions within SAP MDG. Do you have the drive to keep us running? Or perhaps, you have the potential to elevate us to the next level? If so, we eagerly await your arrival.
As a Process Specialist in MDM area, you will be providing services towards our master data solutions. Our solutions aim to establish a single source of truth, serving as the global data foundation for Boehringer Ingelheim.
You will be part of our Business Partner Build sprint team, which drives the lifecycle of our solutions every day, including its maintenance and continuous improvement. Each sprint cycle must ensure a properly tested, documented, and validated solution, in which you will play an important role.
In close collaboration with the product owners, validation managers, and developers, you will ensure that all requirements have been implemented and delivered correctly.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Create and conduct test cases for our master data products within SAP MDG.
• Identify, report, and manage test defects during test case execution.
• Assist your team by updating the system lifecycle documentation of our master data products, including User Requirement Specification, Functional Specification and Risk Assessment.
• Contribute to the team's success through effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Update and maintain relevant training materials in internal learning center based on user stories and the scope of the sprint.
• Identify content for release notes based on user stories and the scope of the sprint.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by supporting your team in other tasks as needed.

Additionally, we are looking for:

• Technical understanding of SAP functionalities is a must.
• Strong understanding of SAP MDG functionalities (tables, transactions, change management) or master data management processes (material, product).
• Knowledge of HP ALM and SAP Solution Manager would be a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of basic testing (UAT) principles and best testing practices.
• Experience with updating user training materials or handling release notes would be an asset.
• Experience in master data, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, is preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a self-managed team, showcasing strong intercultural awareness and a systematic approach that prioritizes high-quality outcomes.
• Working with agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) or tools like JIRA is a plus.
• Willingness to occasionally travel to our headquarters in Ingelheim.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or have professional experience with equivalent training in test or data management.
