Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior backend engineer to join our CASP division, focusing on migrating on-premise systems to Microsoft Azure and building cloud-native services for securitization workflows. You will design and implement REST APIs in Java 11+, deploy with AKS, and contribute to Terraform-based infrastructure.

The role emphasizes scalability, observability, and collaboration with DevOps and analytics teams.

Qualifications

• Strong object-oriented programming with Java 11+.
• Extensive Spring Boot / Spring ecosystem experience.
• Web/REST API development and message-driven services.
• Containerized applications development and runtime.
• Azure cloud expertise including AKS and storage.
• Linux/Unix scripting and system understanding.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub, IntelliJ or VSCode.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java 11+ within microservices.
• Build RESTful APIs and message-driven services for securitization and credit workflows.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native apps on Azure (AKS-based).
• Use Terraform to define infrastructure as code.
• Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or GitHub).
• Implement integrations using Kafka, IBM MQ, or Tibco EMS.
• Collaborate on system design for scalability and resilience.
• Develop and optimize database interactions with Azure SQL, Oracle, or Sybase.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Implement monitoring and observability for production systems.
• Leverage Linux/Unix scripting for troubleshooting.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency while maintaining standards.
