Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a skilled backend engineer to join the CASP division. You will migrate on-prem systems to a modern Microsoft Azure cloud environment, transforming legacy architecture into scalable, cloud-native microservices for securitization and credit workflows.

You will design and implement REST APIs, containerized services, and data interactions across Azure SQL and other storage solutions, ensuring high availability, observability, and regulatory compliance in a complex financial

Qualifications

• Strong object-oriented programming with Java 11+.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot / Spring ecosystem.
• Hands-on development of Web and REST APIs and message-driven services.
• Experience building and running containerized applications.
• Strong experience with Azure cloud, including: Kubernetes (AKS) and container orchestration.
• Compute and storage solutions on Azure.
• Solid Linux/Unix skills (shell scripting).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools integrated into workflows.
• Experience with GitLab / GitHub, IntelliJ / VSCode.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in a microservices architecture.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and message-driven services for securitization workflows.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native apps on Microsoft Azure (AKS).
• Use Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code.
• Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub).
• Implement integrations using Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Collaborate on scalable, resilient distributed architectures.
