Job summary

Allegro.eu S.A. in Poland is seeking a Courier Operations Coordinator to optimize shipment assignments and routes, responding to delays and operational challenges to ensure timely deliveries.

You will work closely with the warehouse team, implement improvements, and maintain high service quality. The role requires experience in courier operations, basic MS Office skills (Excel preferred), and a solid understanding of local city layouts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a courier environment.
• Basic MS Office, especially Excel, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign shipments to couriers based on optimal routes and delivery priorities.
• Plan courier routes considering traffic, weather, and regional specifics.
• Respond quickly to delays and delivery issues to minimize disruptions.
• Resolve operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns or recipient unavailability.
• Cooperate with warehouse to prep shipments for dispatch.
• Propose improvements to courier work organization to boost efficiency.

• -Assigning shipments to couriers based on optimal routes and delivery priorities to ensure efficient service.
• -Planning courier routes, taking into account traffic conditions, weather, and regional specifics.
• -Responding quickly to delays, delivery issues, and unforeseen situations to minimize operational disruptions.
• -Resolving ongoing operational issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or recipient availability problems.
• -Cooperating with the warehouse team to ensure the timely preparation of shipments for dispatch.
• -Proposing improvements to courier work organization in order to increase efficiency and service quality.

This is the right job for you if:

• -Experience in a similar position within a courier company.
• -Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (nice to have).
• -Secondary education.
• -Knowledge of the city's topography.
• -Ability to make independent decisions and act effectively under pressure.
• -Strong communication skills and daily teamwork.
