Job summary
Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to join a project focused on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
The ideal candidate has at least five years in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics, with deep MATLAB/Simulink expertise and experience with ABB control platforms. Proficiency in English is required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or Control Engineering.
- Deep expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
- Experience with ABB control platforms and Control Builder.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV drive control systems.
- Analyze requirements and translate into software specifications.
- Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Configure, implement, and test control logic on ABB platforms.
- Support software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
