Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to design and maintain MLSL applications for MV drive control used in AC Electric Arc Furnace power supplies. You will develop control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, configure ABB platforms, and work with CodeSys/Control Builder in a multidisciplinary team.

Strong background in Electrical and Control Engineering and 5+ years of experience are required, with advanced English proficiency and a focus on industrial power electronics applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Deep expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithm development.
• Strong domain knowledge in Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
• Experience with ABB control platforms and familiarity with Control Builder.
• Practical experience in developing and optimizing drive control strategies for industrial applications.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV Drive Control systems.
• Analyze control system requirements and translate into specs.
• Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Configure and test control logic within ABB platforms.
• Support software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize drive control strategies for industrial power electronics.
• Work with Control Builder and CodeSys environments.
• Collaborate with electrical, control, and power electronics teams.
• Perform simulation, verification, and validation on RTSS platforms.
• Provide technical support through project lifecycle and documentation.
