Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to contribute to power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Strong background in Electrical and Control Engineering with MATLAB and Simulink is required. Join a team working with ABB control platforms, Control Builder, and real-time simulation to create robust drive control

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
Strong expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithms.
Deep knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
Experience with ABB control platforms and familiarity with Control Builder.
Proven ability to develop and optimize drive control strategies for industrial applications.
Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems used in AC Electric Arc Furnaces.
Analyze control system requirements and translate them into specifications.
Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
Configure and test control logic within ABB platforms.
Support software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborate with electrical, control, and power electronics specialists to optimize drive control strategies.
