Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to design, develop, and support MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems in AC Electric Arc Furnace power supplies. You will work with electrical, control, and power electronics specialists to deliver robust control solutions.

The role requires strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, experience with ABB platforms and Control Builder, and an advanced level of English.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
Deep expertise with MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithm development.
Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
Experience with ABB control platforms and Control Builder.
Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems in AC Electric Arc Furnace power supply solutions.
Analyze control system requirements and translate into functional and software specs.
Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
Configure, implement, and test control logic within ABB control platforms.
Support software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Contribute to drive control strategy optimization for industrial power electronics.
