Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV Drive Control systems used in AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust control solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Electrical/Control engineering, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and experience with ABB platforms and Control Builder. English proficiency is essential for collaboration and documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Electrical/Power/Control engineering.
Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithms.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV Drive Control systems in AC arc furnaces.
Analyze requirements and translate into specs for hardware/software.
Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
Configure, implement, and test ABB control logic (Control Builder).
Participate in software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Optimize drive control strategies for industrial applications.
Work with Control Builder and CodeSys environments.
Collaborate with electrical, control and power electronics teams.
Perform simulation, verification, and validation on Real-Time Simulation platforms.
Provide technical support through design, commissioning and operation.
Contribute to documentation, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
