Job summary
Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to work on MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems used in AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain software and algorithms, collaborating with electrical, control, and power electronics teams.
The role requires a deep expertise in MATLAB and Simulink, strong English, and experience with ABB control platforms and Control Builder.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
- Strong expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithm development.
- Deep knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
- Experience with ABB control platforms and familiarity with Control Builder.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining MLSL applications for MV drive control systems.
- Analyzing control system requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
- Developing and validating control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Configuring, implementing, and testing control logic within ABB control platforms.
- Participating in software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
