Job summary

Habys is expanding its cross-border e-commerce team and seeks a Romanian Market Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day operations and support the Romanian online store.

You will collaborate with central e-commerce and IT teams, translate content, update products and promotions, and ensure smooth order processing and customer service. Fluency in Romanian and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

HABYS is a rapidly growing company that manufactures professional equipment for the body care industry—including physical therapy, massage, beauty, and spa.

We operate in the e-commerce and B2B sectors, selling our products to dozens of countries. We’re growing at a rate of about 25% annually, and our strategic goal is to further scale our cross-border sales.

Due to the growth of the Romanian market, we are looking for someone who will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the market and for supporting local e-commerce.

WHO WE’R LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Romanian Market Operations Specialist who is fluent in Romanian and wants to grow in the fields of e-commerce and international sales.

We’re not looking for another Country Manager—we already have that role on our team. We’re looking for someone who will be closely involved in day-to-day operations, the online store, and the Romanian market, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and problems are resolved quickly.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in e-commerce or managing an online store
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Independence, responsibility, and strong operational skills
• Ability to work efficiently with digital tools
• Communication skills and the ability to collaborate easily with various teams and partners
• Knowledge of Shopify—a plus, especially practical experience managing a store and basic technical skills, such as HTML/CSS
• Experience with CMS, PIM, ERP, or other e-commerce systems is a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

E-commerce and online store

• Ongoing maintenance and updates to the Romanian version of the store
• Adding and updating products, descriptions, and photos
• Updating prices, collections, banners, and promotions
• Monitoring the proper functioning of the store and the presentation of the product offers
• Identifying and reporting errors and technical issues
• Performing day-to-day tasks in Shopify and other e-commerce systems
• Collaborating with the central e-commerce and IT team
• Providing ongoing operational support for sales growth in the Romanian market
• Liaising and collaborating with local partners and suppliers
• Translating and proofreading content into Romanian
• Preparing and localizing materials for the Romanian market
• Gathering information about the market, competition, and product offerings
• Monitoring prices, promotions, and competitors’ activities
• Submitting ideas and recommendations regarding market development

E-commerce Operations

• Supporting order processing, payments, and deliveries
• Coordinating returns and complaints
• Providing customer service support in Romanian, if needed
• Resolving day-to-day issues related to order fulfillment
• Coordinating matters between the Romanian market and central teams: e-commerce, logistics, IT, marketing, and finance
• Ensuring the smooth and timely execution of daily operational tasks
