We are looking for an E-Commerce Operations & Reliability Manager to own the day-to-day operations of the D2C online store and make sure the customer journey works end-to-end: browsing → checkout → payment → order processing → delivery → returns → refunds.
This role is the main business owner of “what is working / what is broken / what must be fixed first”, working closely with IT, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing and external partners.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end operational performance of the e-commerce platform (web + mobile)
- Lead incident management (conversion drops, payment errors, checkout issues, refund delays, communication issues)
- Run root cause analysis and make sure fixes are delivered (not only diagnosed)
- Be the single point of contact to prioritize and push topics to IT (backlog, escalations, timelines, quality)
- Understand data/integration flows (e.g., Shopify + BaseLinker + payments + carriers/warehouse) and find where data breaks
- Coordinate release readiness: basic testing, pre/post deployment checks, operational checklists
- Work closely with Customer Care and use NPS signals as an early-warning system
- Support compliance awareness (e.g., when to involve Legal / GDPR topics)
What we are looking for
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience running e-commerce site operations / digital product support / IT-business operations in a high-volume retail or consumer environment, with proven ability to own outcomes, work independently, and deliver structure in change.
- Strong track record working across integrated ecosystems (e-commerce platform + OMS/WMS/ERP + payment gateways), understanding end-to-end data and order flows, and taking part in a platform launch, replatforming or major enterprise integration (highly preferred).
- Practical operational knowledge of enterprise e-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris, Adobe Commerce/Magento, Shopify Enterprise) and the tools used to run them day-to-day
- Comfortable using monitoring and performance/error tracking tools to spot issues early, assess business impact, and drive root-cause fixes.
- Process-driven and detail-oriented: strong focus on SLAs, SOPs, release readiness/UAT discipline, and operational governance while still being able to prioritize fast and execute under pressure (peaks, campaigns, launch).
- Excellent analytical skills and strong stakeholder management across IT, ops, marketing, warehouse, customer care and partners
- Customer-first mindset focused on removing friction across the full journey (browse → checkout → delivery → returns/refunds).
- Fluent English.
Offer:
- Opportunity to shape processes and ways of working in a complex organisation where you will need to build structure from scratch.
- Large-scale role in an international environment.
- Employment contract + annual bonus.
- Hybrid model 50/50 (office in Poznań).
