Job summary

Breezy is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own the people function in Poland. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention while advising managers and driving a healthy, high-performing culture.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HR processes from recruitment to onboarding and retention.
• Provide HR consulting to managers on absence, behavior, and organizational changes.
• Manage payroll processing and its reporting.
• Develop and implement employee development and motivation strategies.
• Support employment for foreign employees and maintain HR policies.
• Maintain onboarding data, HRIS inputs, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a positive probation period.

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Poland. This role will take full ownership of the people function — from recruitment through onboarding, development, and retention — while acting as a trusted advisor to managers and a driver of a healthy, high-performing team culture. Main duties and responsibilities:

• Full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer
• Maintaining a candidate database and generating HR reports and analyses
• Facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new employees, coordinating with cross-functional departments to ensure an exceptional probation period experience
• Managing all administrative tasks related to onboarding, induction, and exit interviews, including data entry into HRIS and auditing for accuracy and compliance
• Providing employees with effective and dedicated HR consulting services regarding absence and health issues, behavior and opportunities, grievances, organizational changes, and all other employee relations issues
• Managing payroll processing and its report
• Managing employee development and motivation strategies
• Consulting with managers on people-related matters
• Supporting the communication, interpretation, and maintenance of the employee handbook, organizational chart, and contributing to the development of HR policies
• Supporting the employment process for foreign employees

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Human Resources
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization
• Solid knowledge of Polish labor law and HR best practices
• Proven experience in recruitment and employee relations management
• Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information with discretion
• A proactive, adaptable, and structured approach to work
• English and Polish at C1 level; Ukrainian is an advantage
