Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Robotics Simulation Engineer to join a simulation engineering pod supporting migration of an autonomy simulation platform to NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim for a global heavy-equipment manufacturer.

You will own the scenario framework used to test software, work with the technical lead and the client’s simulation engineers to extend and migrate test scenarios, connect autonomy software to the simulator through ROS 2, and run large scenario campaigns at scale.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in robotics or autonomy software engineering focused on simulation.

Responsibilities

• Extend the scenario framework for defining, parameterizing and running test scenarios.
• Migrate existing scenarios to Omniverse/Isaac Sim without coverage loss.
• Integrate ROS 2 to connect autonomy software to the simulator for SIL/HIL testing.
• Run large-scale scenario campaigns reliably in batch or distributed modes and measure performance.
