Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a detail-oriented order processing specialist in Kraków to manage end-to-end order intake, contract reviews, and revenue recognition. You will collaborate with sales, logistics, and Finance to ensure compliant, timely fulfillment of customer orders.

The role requires IFRS/JSOX awareness, accurate documentation, and the ability to work across CRM/ERP systems. German language skills and a professional finance background are highly valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in corporate environment (finance industry preferable).
• German working proficiency; English knowledge at B2 level.
• Professional degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics) is a plus.
• Ability to partner with sales and services colleagues to achieve success.
• Customer- and service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently while prioritizing many complex tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and position sales and services quotes while processing all orders within the Company's CRM and ERP platforms for accurate, timely fulfillment and delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure all assigned transactions have proper documentation and approvals for any standard and nonstandard financial contract terms and conditions.
• Evaluate deals for compliance with IFRS, JSOX and Hitachi Vantara policies.
• Submit IFRS Compliance Checklist with supporting documentation for revenue and cost recognition conclusions.
• Communicate order and delivery information to customers, partners and sales teams; liaise with Distribution and Logistics for shipment details.
• Engage with Revenue Team for terms deviating from company standards affecting revenue timing.
